Have you tried renaming the 'XRay_Modv58_Modded_1.12.2' back to 'xray-v58' - maybe something internally in mod does a check on name (unlikely as it may sound)ĭo any older xray's work (for example do a mc v1.11 profile & try on a new world ). It's the weird thing that the 2 mods are not even 'seen' (the ones from discord links) on a clean install & that your original xray had somehow got renamed without you doing it (never heard of this happening normally - only heard viruses doing things like this) It 'might' be a window 10/8.1 thing - I got no way of testing - but somehow don't think so since game runs normally It doesn't seem to be a memory thing (mc+xray should use less than mc+all mods - & with all mods game runs)

I can't see it being a java thing since we're using the same version Not sure why a clean MC installation doesn't even see the mod since there's shouldn't be anything to conflict. Unfortunately you've done everything that I would've suggested. And, yes, I CAN run the world without XRay but I can't finish my work without it What's so disheartening about this is 2+ years ago, I took a world download (Falcon's Rock) and found all the underground mineshafts (with XRay), connected the towns and mineshafts with rail and created a literal mining world. MC is not crashing with the 3rd clean re-install and runs just fine even with the old mods added back (even WITH XRay) THEN, I created a New World with NO mods, closed MC and added ONLY the XRay mods (one at a time).

I ran the copy world with ONLY XRay-58 AND ONLY XRay-Mod-1.12., one at a timeīOTH runs failed to recognize either XRay mod I re-installed MC by downloading the Installer from the MC website and running 1.12.2 for the 1st time. I did a clean un-install (I use Revo Un-Installer that deletes even registry items) The problem is, for whatever reason, MC isn't recognizing either version of XRay Yes sir, I have tried every scenario imaginable.
